Release Update: November 11, 2021
Pivvot releases new software enhancements and data every two weeks. Have a special request? Please don't hesitate to reach out! You can make training requests, share enhancement ideas, and walk through your workflows with one of our experts. You can always reach us at support@pivvot.com.
Software Enhancements
Tired of flip-flopping between Pivvot and Google Earth (or other platforms)?
Introducing: Site Sketch
Site Sketch allows users to upload and draw features within a project site. This feature is designed for early stage site layouts and more refined control defining usable/constrained area.
With Site Sketch, you can engage stakeholders earlier in the lifecycle to collaborate on the site layout as well as integrate third-party data (such as survey data) in a single location.
In Summary: No more flip-flopping between Pivvot and Google Earth!
How many hours do you waste clipping screen shots and finding contact information to prepare mailers to landowners?
Check Out the New Contact List
Pivvot's updated landowner contact list now includes parcel screen shots and a mail-merge friendly format. Save time preparing mailers by exporting your contacts with links to the parcel imagery in one click.
Data Enhancements
Pivvot has partnered with Terracon to provide enriched and more complete geotechnical data within our platform. The first layer of Terracon expert-level data is now available: Soil Behavior Class
Soil Behavior Class
The Soil Behavior Classification (SBC) is a dataset derived by Terracon engineers from the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) GSSURGO national corporative soil survey.
The purpose of the SBC dataset is to provide a preliminary estimate of soil material type and associated density parameters. The SBC gives an engineer a quick, data-driven approximation of an analysis that would typically be obtained by performing detailed field inspection.
With this layer, you can more accurately inform go-no-go decisions regarding engineering and design work on asset construction.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to enrich our database with data derived by Terracon experts. To learn more about SBC Data, access our data dictionary in the Support Center.
